Background:After a long day waitressing and practicing karate at her uncle's dojo, there was nothing Kylie liked better then sitting back and listening to music. Often time she would fall asleep while your iPod continue to play. So it was a hot and steamy night in August, that she once again fall asleep while listening to music and found herself in a strange room. The room was similar to the pictures her grand parents had from when they lived in Japan. Suddenly Kylie sensed that she was not alone in the room and turning she saw teen girl standing behind. As the girl smiled, Kylie found herself relaxing and they began to talk. The girl explained that her name was Atsumi (meaning warm sea) and explained that she was waiting for father to return. She then asked as she always wanted an older sister that she could call her One-chan. Kylie saw no harm in it so the two girls bonded. She go that Atsumi did not get long well with her father unlike Kylie's relationship with hers. Finally Kylie asked why Atsumi was here and the girl began to scream. Kylie knew that she had to get the headphones off and ran out of the room screaming herself trying wrench the headphones off. All the while she found herself attacked by some sort of strange crow-men whose blows and attacks she parried while running.
She does not know how long she ran, countering and learning from the crow-men. But she fought knowing her life depended on it. Suddenly when things looked the darkest and the strange crow-men were surrounding she wrestled the head phones from head screaming in fear. She found herself alone in her apartment and changed. It did not take long for her to discovered that she was strong, faster and physically marked by her her experience. She since by asking her uncle learned that the crow-men were called Tengu and that she must have been in the land of the dead. So it did not surprise one day when a Shinagami called Shinji came to take her back. Luckily her skills taught to her by her uncle and improved by the run in by the Tengu gave her the edge of surprise allowing her to easily beat Shinji the first time. Alas he has promised to return. Since then she has mainly used her ability to deal with unruly customer and one women who was being accosted by a man.
Personality/Motivation: Generally friendly and helpful. Shy when she first meet people in social situations but opens up after a while.
